NFL Network Female Hosts

You can watch your favorite NFL games and any other related content on NFL Network without cable. The network also broadcasts documentaries along with live-sports coverage and math analysis.

NFL Network On-Air Roster consists of about 62 personnel, with the majority being male (45 in number) and only around a quarter of them being female (17 in number). Some female NFL Network hosts include Collen Wolfe, Kay Adams, Melissa Stark, and others who host various shows.

About six female main hosts on the NFL Network are responsible for hosting various shows such as NFL Total Access, Good Morning Football, NFL GameDay Kickoff, Fantasy Football, and WEEKEND TODAY Show.

MJ Acosta-Ruiz

MJ Acosta-Ruiz is a Bachelor of Arts in Communications graduate from Barry University. She became the first Afro-Latina to host a show on NFL Network after becoming the solo host of NFL Total Access in September 2020.

Her first assignment with the NFL Network took place in September 2018, as she covered both the Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers as a Bay Area-based reporter.

Acosta-Ruiz previously worked as the lead sports anchor for Telemundo 20 and NBC 7 in San Diego, covering the Chargers for three seasons. Before that, she had spent at least three seasons as a WPLG reporter covering breaking news, entertainment, and sports in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. 

Colleen Wolfe

Colleen Wolfe is from Philadelphia and studied at Drexel University. The shows she hosts for NFL Network are NFL GameDay Kickoff, NFL Total Access, and Good Morning Football: Weekend. Wolfe also hosts several coverages, such as the NFL Draft and Super Bowl.

Wolfe joined NFL Network in 2014, and she had previously worked for Fox 29, Sports Radio 94 WIP, and Comcast SportsNet.

Kay Adams

Kay Adams

With Kyle Brandt, Nate Burleson, and Peter Schrager, Kay Adams hosts Good Morning Football, airing Monday through Friday. She is also the host of Fantasy Zone, aired by DirecTV for the fourth season and counting.

She hosted fantasy football live on NBC Sports Network for several years before her role at NFL Network.

Kimmi Chex

Kimberly Chexnayder is popularly known as Kimmi Chex. She attained a Bachelor of Arts honors in 2018 from the University of Iowa and held a Certificate in Cultural Competence and a degree in Journalism & Mass Communication.

Chexnayder has been working for the NFL since 2018, and she started as a rotational business analyst for the Junior Rotational Program. Before that, she worked for several other departmental offices in Los Angeles and New York. 

Chexnayder is a regular contributor and host for several NFL channels and an on-air personality for NFL Media. She covers NFL events like the NFL Draft, Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, and Fantasy Football.

She also contributes her business insight and passion for the game to a weekly fantasy football show known as Fantasy League One.

Melissa Stark

Melissa Stark currently lives in New Jersey, where she graduated from Phi Beta Kappa in 1995 with a double major in Spanish and Foreign Affairs from The University of Virginia.

Stark works as a host/reporter for NFL Network. Additionally, she serves in news, entertainment, and sports roles for many other TV shows and projects. As a sideline reporter for Monday Night Football, her three years made her a television personality and sportscaster. 

Stark has had a long career as a reporter/host because she has worked for major media outlets like NBC, MSNBC, ABC, MNF, ESPN, and interned at CBS.

She has hosted some shows like WEEKEND TODAY, HBO’s 2012 GEOGRAPHY BEE, TODAY SHOW at NBC, ABC’s MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, etc.

As one of the oldest pioneers in NFL media history, Melissa Stark maintains her legacy to this day.

Rachel Bonnetta

Rachel Bonnetta is a native of Toronto, Canada, now living in Los Angeles.

In 2021, she became part of the NFL Media Group and now appears on numerous shows and platforms. Besides hosting NFL GameDay View, Bonnetta also contributes to NFL GameDay Morning Show.

Other shows where her presence is noticed include events such as the Red Carpet, NFL Honors, and Super Bowl. Additionally, Bonnetta contributes to the NFL Network’s Legalized Sports Betting section and the NFL’s digital platforms, including the NFL app and 

Previously, Bonnetta worked at FOX Sports, where she hosted FOX BET LIVE on FOX. Her most recent role at FOX Sports was hosting the first-ever linear sports gambling show; FOX BET LIVE on FS1.

She held various roles with FOX Sports, including covering the Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup 2018. She also worked for UEFA Champions League, providing pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage for matches. 

Before 2016, she hosted shows such as The Zone (Canada), The Whip on Kick TV, off Topic, and MLS Now.
